Georgetown Spree

Updated: Sep 12, 2019

Lets open our doors and our wallets, because it's time to explore Georgetown!

There is more to Georgetown than just the famous Georgetown Cupcakes. As good as they are, there are a lot of musts when it comes to exploring Georgetown.

So let's explore Georgetown by going shopping!

Georgetown has everything from TJ - Max to Anthropology & Co. Georgetown Park is the main location of these stores. So whether you want to blow all your money, or save a few bucks here and there, Georgetown Park is the place to go.

But hold on! There is more to do on foot in Georgetown! I'm going to let my nerdy side come out for a second and expose the true history buff that I am. The oldest house in DC is still standing, and you can visit it! The Old Stone House is rich with history and has a beautiful English style garden, it is certainly worth a visit.

The Old Stone House is located at 3051 M St NW, Washington DC 20007

Now let's

get to the

fun stuff!

If you have never played bocce, now is a great time to start. Pinstripes has six bocce courts and fourteen bowling alleys. Pinstripes is located at 1064 Wisconsin Ave. NW

Washington, DC 20007

If you just want to relax, grab a bite, and enjoy the scenery, then I highly recommend visiting Washington Harbor. They have plenty of outdoor seating to be able to watch the boats go by in the harbor, or connect with your inner child and run through the sprinklers (that's always my favorite thing to do)! If it's winter, don't worry, still go visit and ice skate! The best parts of Washington Harbor is located at 3000 K St. NW Washington, DC 20007
