The More Color the Better

Updated: Sep 12, 2019

Picture ready with a beautiful background.

Ever wonder how some peoples' pictures look more lively and overall ascetically pleasing? Well the answer isn't always going to the most expensive places, sometimes it just means going to a hidden gem.

Take Puerto Rico for example. Out of all the places to travel, this one is probably the most wallet-conscious place to visit. Puerto Rico is filled with vibrant buildings, and beautiful natural backgrounds. These areas make for the perfect picture taking spot.

Anything bright with good lighting

is ideal for a photo, but every photo

needs good edits.

VSCO is a very popular editing tool right now, and I use it a lot myself, but it is by no means the only good free one out there. AirBrush, Photo Editor, and Snapseed are just a few of the many amazing FREE editors out there and have been raved about all over the internet. I have personally tested out all of them and they all contain different cool and useful features.

My Personal Tips

Enhancing the brightness is always the first edit I do, usually brighter is better, especially with a beautiful scenery behind you. I also like using highlight, and only a little bit of saturation to enhance the beauty that the picture already has. Lastly, if you were going use a filter and edits, do the edits first, then add the filter. The filter should mend to the edits that you want, not the other way around.

It never hurts to add some edits here and there, but natural beauty in the end usually looks the best. It's better not to over do it with the filters and edits, or it will just look fake and the natural beauty of both the person and the background in lost.
